A Texas chef with a love of hunting shares her recipe for a winter pot roast from her debut cookbook, "Wild + Whole." The recipe's key ingredient is venison.
"I married a hunter – and so he was bringing in a lot of what some people would consider exotic meats, like wild ducks, rabbits and venison," Prewett said. "And I just thought it was really fascinating that I had an opportunity to work with a protein that you couldn't buy at a grocery store.
