Premier League: England captain Harry Kane confirmed he will stay at Tottenham Hotspur this summer, ending speculation over his future at the club. Kane was heavily linked to Manchester City during the transfer window.

England captain Harry Kane put an end to transfer speculation on Wednesday, confirming that he will stay at Tottenham Hotspur during the course of the Premier League 2021-22 season. Kane took to social media to announce he is staying with Spurs this summer. It was incredible to see the reception from the Spurs fans on Sunday and to read some of the messages of support I've had in the last few weeks.I will be staying at Tottenham this summer and will be 100% focused on helping the team achieve success. #COYS pic.twitter.com/uTN78tHlk1 Harry Kane was heavily linked to Manchester City in the lead up to the Premier League season. City reportedly made an offer to Spurs to buy the England captain in the ongoing summer transfer window, which comes to a close on August 31. City manager Pep Guardiola has admitted the club's interest to sign Kane as a replacement for Sergio Aguero who left for Barcelona after failing to extend his contract after the end of last season.
