Will be happy if my arrest resolves Assam-Mizoram border dispute: Himanta Biswa Sarma

In view of Mizoram's FIR against him over the July 26 violence along the Assam-Mizoram border, Himanta Biswa Sarma said that he would be very happy if his arrest resolves the border crisis.

If the police gives me notice, then I will go and join the investigation. I will go from Silchar to Vairengte and will join the investigation. If the Mizoram Police arrests me, I will not go to seek interim bail from the Gauhati High Court,” Himanta Biswa Sarma said.
