Susie Wiles describes the president’s schedule as packed with meetings and spontaneous conversations.
White House chief of staff Susie Wiles is offering some insight into President Donald Trump’s day-to-day routine amid heightened discourse over his health and well-being.
Wiles, who Trump famously deemed the “Ice Maiden,” spoke at length to “The Mom View” for its Monday episode. In the interview, she defended the president’s working habits, saying her boss “works 24/7” and never sleeps.
“When we travel, it’s a killer, because normal people do need to get sleep, but he doesn’t,” Wiles said. “It’s a very long day— meetings and some spontaneous conversations. He usually finishes around 8, 9 — maybe earlier, 7, which he’s busy most nights. And we stay there until he goes.”
A Florida native, Wiles is a seasoned lobbyist with nearly a decade of experience advocating for a formidable collection of corporate interests. In 2024, she served as Trump’s campaign manager and is seen within the Republican Party as a critical figure in the president’s election victory over former Vice President Kamala Harris, his Democratic rival.
Given that Wiles seldom gives interviews, her appearance on “The Mom View” seems auspiciously timed.
