Saeed Ajmal was on fire for MCC during the Lord's Bicentenary Celebration match when captain Sachin Tendulkar asked him not to play too seriously and took the Pakistan spinner off the attack.
Former Pakistan spinner Said Ajmal on Monday narrated a funny incident which took place between him and India legend Sachin Tendulkar during a charity cricket match at the Lord's in 2014. Tendulkar was leading the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) team against Shane Warne's Rest of the World (ROW) side in the Lord's bicentenary match to mark the 200th anniversary of the iconic cricket ground, almost 7 years ago on July 5. Tendulkar brought off-spinner Ajmal into the bowling attack in the 8th over and immediately removed ROW opener Adam Gilchrist. Ajmal then removed Tamim Iqbal in his next over before sending back Kevin Pietersen and his former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi in the 12th over to leave the opposition reeling at 68 for 5 with figures of 4 for 5 from 3 overs.More Related News
