When CDS General Bipin Rawat survived a chopper crash in Nagaland's Dimapur in 2015

CDS General Bipin Rawat had survived a chopper crash six years ago in 2015, during his tenure as a Lieutenant General (LG) in Nagaland's Dimapur district.

An Indian Air Force (IAF) chopper carrying Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat, his wife and other defence personnel on board crashed in Tamil Nadu's Coonoor on Wednesday. While thirteen people have been confirmed dead in the incident, there is no immediate information on the condition of General Rawat.

However, General Rawat had survived a helicopter crash six years ago too, in 2015, during his tenure as a Lieutenant General (LG).
