West Indies vs India: Rohit Sharma sweats it out in nets before 1st T20I

WI vs IND: Rohit Sharma didn't take part in the ODI series against the West Indies, but will ply his trade in the five-match T20I series.
Indian captain Rohit Sharma is set to take part in the five-match T20I series against the West Indies. The series will get underway on Friday, July 29 at the Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain, Trinidad. The veteran last donned the national colours on the tour of England where the Men in Blue won the ODI and T20I series.
However, barring the first ODI at The Oval where he scored a match-winning half-century, Rohit failed to make much of an impact. He also missed the rescheduled fifth Test against Ben Stokes’s England after he tested positive for Covid-19. Jasprit Bumrah was named the Indian skipper in his place.
On Friday, the official Twitter handle of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) uploaded a video where Rohit can be seen practicing in the nets.
In the clip, the Nagpur-born Rohit can be seen playing some delightful shots, both on the front-foot and backfoot. He looked in good touch after he seemed to have middled most of the deliveries. If Rohit plays such shots in the opening T20I, West Indies could end up in big trouble.
