A fire at a three-storey apartment building in west Edmonton late Wednesday afternoon forced residents to evacuate the building.
A city spokesperson told CBC News that no injuries were reported after a fire broke out at a residential building in the area of 152nd Street and 101st Avenue.
He said crews were first called to the fire at 5:05 p.m. and arrived at the scene four minutes later. In all, 14 fire trucks responded to the building.
It was not immediately clear how long people would be forced to stay out of their units, how significant the damage is or what caused the fire.
