It's another chilly weekend in the Greater Toronto Area as Environment Canada issued a yellow cold warning for "very cold wind chills."
The federal weather agency warned of wind chills near -30 for Saturday morning, Saturday evening and into Sunday morning.
"Extreme cold puts everyone at risk," said Environment Canada's alert.
Saturday will be bright with a mix of sun and cloud and a high of -13 C that will feel like -33 C in the morning and -22 C in the afternoon.
But hold on to your scarves, as winds will be gusting from 30 to 50 kilometres per hour.
In the evening, forecasts will transition to a low of -21 C with a wind chill of -28 overnight.
Sunday will be sunny with a high of -12 C that will feel like -28 C in the morning and -19 C in the afternoon.
The weather agency warns of frostbite risk throughout the weekend.
It said people should watch out for cold-related symptoms, such as shortness of breath, chest pain, muscle weakness, or any change of colour in fingers and toes.
"If it’s too cold for you to stay outside, it’s too cold for your pet to stay outside," it said, adding young kids, seniors, people with chromic illnesses, and those without proper shelter should exercise extra caution.
