Current water levels in Papanasam and Manimuthar dams, along with rainfall data for various areas in Tamil Nadu.
The water level in Papanasam dam stood at 96.80 feet (the maximum level is 143 feet) with an inflow of 3,983 cusecs and a discharge of 1,200 cusecs. The water level in Manimuthar dam stood at 96.84 feet (the maximum level is 118 feet) with an inflow of 4,913.08 cusecs with nil discharge. The rainfall recorded in the 24 hours ending at 6 a.m. on Sunday was (in mm): Ambasamudram 44, Manimutharu 101.60, Palayamkottai 12, Papanasam 126, Tirunelveli 6.20, Servalar dam 72, Manjolai 41, Kakkachi 52, Nalumukku 66 and Oothu recorded 84 mm rainfall.
