The rainfall recorded in the 24 hours ending at 6 a.m. on Sunday was (in mm): Ambasamudram 44, Manimutharu 101.60, Palayamkottai 12, Papanasam 126, Tirunelveli 6.20, Servalar dam 72, Manjolai 41, Kakkachi 52, Nalumukku 66 and Oothu recorded 84 mm rainfall.
