Water level in Mullaperiyar dam stands at 119.10 feet

Mullaperiyar and Vaigai dam water levels, inflow, and discharge rates, along with rainfall data and combined storage in Periyar.

Water level in Mullaperiyar dam on Friday stood at 119.10 feet (the maximum permissible level is 142 ft.) with an inflow of 308 cusecs and a discharge of 100 cusecs. The level in Vaigai dam was 47.61 ft. (the maximum level is 71 ft.) with an inflow of 14 cusecs and a discharge of 72 cusecs. Combined storage in Periyar credit was 2,909 mcft. Mullaperiyar dam recorded a rainfall of 3.2 mm and Thekkadi 0.4 mm in the 24 hours ending at 6 a.m., PWD officials said.
