Former Pakistan fast bowler Wasim Akram has wished Sachin Tendulkar a speedy recovery and asked the 'master' to send a celebratory picture with doctors and hospital staff on the occasion of 10th anniversary of India's 2011 World Cup win.

In his tweet, Akram also recalled a 16-year-old Sachin Tendulkar's guts and aplomb to face the best bowlers in the world. Notably, in his debut Test match, Sachin Tendulkar had faced the likes of Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis and Imran Khan in Karachi.
