CBC Kitchener-Waterloo is launching an editorial series recognizing people from Waterloo region who have had an impact on the community or created positive change.
In honour of the station's 10-year anniversary, the team is highlighting 10 Changemakers who have made headlines over the years.
CBC K-W is putting out a call for community members who wish to be part of the Selection Committee who will ultimately select the changemakers, alongside the help of CBC K-W staff.
If you're interested in being a member of the Selection Committee, please fill out the form below. Successful candidates will be contacted following the July 19 deadline.
This is a paid opportunity that will require a time commitment of a couple of days in the coming weeks.

Sarnia City Council will hold a special meeting Tuesday morning to respond to social media comments made by Coun. Bill Dennis, who criticized city spending on a new mural by Indigenous artist Kennady Osborne as “virtue signalling by woke politicians” — then made a series of comments in response to a reply from Aamjiwnaang Chief Janelle Nahmabin that some have characterized as unprofessional and aggressive.
