Spanish PM Sanchez's visit to India strengthens bilateral relations, emphasizing cooperation in various sectors for global peace and prosperity.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday (October 28, 2024) said the visit of his Spanish counterpart Pedro Sanchez to India has infused a new energy and enthusiasm in relations between the two countries.
Mr. Sanchez said the two countries complement each other, and Spain looks forward to advancing the great cooperation.

Both the leaders held bilateral talks at the Darbar hall of Laxmi Vilas Palace in Gujarat's Vadodara city.
This is the first visit of Spanish PM Sanchez to India.
Mr. Modi said Mr. Sanchez's visit has infused "a new energy and enthusiasm" in relations between the two countries.
Earlier, the two PMs jointly inaugurated the Tata Advanced System Limited (TASL)-Airbus facility in Vadodara to manufacture C-295 military aircraft in India.

The Central Committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) on Friday pledged to mobilise people in resistance against the BJP-led Union government’s “anti-agricultural worker, anti-farmer, anti-worker, anti-people” laws and policies till they are all repealed, the party said on Friday. In a statement issued here, the CPI(M) said the members took the pledge following a three-day meeting held at Thiruvananthapuram.
