Legendary India batsman Sunil Gavaskar has asked the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to groom KL Rahul as the next India captain.
Gavaskar wants KL Rahul to be appointed as India’s T20 vice-captain, with Rohit Sharma set to take over as the role of captain after Virat Kohli decided to quit the captaincy after the T20 World Cup.
