Captain Virat Kohli and his deputy Rohit Sharma will be eyeing a string of records when they take the field for the 1st T20I between India and England in Ahmedabad on Friday.
After winning the Test series against England, India will turn their attention to T20Is when the two sides meet in what is expected to be a high-octane five-match series from March 12 at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Both India and England will be looking to get their team combination right ahead of the much-awaited T20 World Cup. There are many new faces who have received maiden India call-up and it will be interesting to see how many of them are successful in making a cut to the final playing XI.
