Vibe coding is so big, LinkedIn wants you to show it off to help find your next cool job

LinkedIn has announced that now users will be able to show off their vibe coding skills on the platform. Unlike usual skill entries, the vibe coding skills will be updated automatically as part of a partnership with platforms – Replit, Lovable, Descript and Relay.app.
Vibe coding has quickly become a popular skill to have. Vibe coding refers to the use of AI to write code, usually on platforms such as Cursor or Replit. A user can give prompts to an AI tool for the required code, and the AI does the rest. Now, as vibe coding becomes more prominent, LinkedIn has launched a new feature allowing you to flex your vibe coding skills.
On Wednesday, LinkedIn announced that it had partnered with vibe coding platforms – Replit, Lovable, Descript and Relay.app – to bring vibe coding certifications that will be displayed on a user’s profile.
LinkedIn has allowed users to add skills and certifications for quite a while now. However, usually you would need to manually update these skills. But for vibe coding, things work differently. A user simply needs to link their LinkedIn profile to the vibe coding platform they use, such as Replit, and the certification will be added automatically.
The certification may vary depending on the platform. For example, Replit categorises users in 5 levels, going from beginner to master. In contrast, Lovable gives categories such as Bronze and Silver. These levels dynamically update as people gain more experience using the relevant tools, providing a more accurate reflection of current skills.
The new certificates serve as a signal to hiring managers—and LinkedIn’s own hiring assistant AI tools—that people have demonstrated sought-after skills harnessing AI.
Participation isn’t limited to experience gained through full-time roles. Usage for side projects and side hustles is just as valid. LinkedIn has also clarified that more partners, including Gamma, GitHub, and Zapier, will join the program soon, and that software makers are not charged to participate.

Xiaomi has opened sales of its newly launched Pad 8 in India, with availability starting March 17, 2026. The tablet comes powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, runs on HyperOS 3, and offers improved multitasking features, targeting users who want a portable device with powerful performance for work and entertainment.
