‘Very frustrated’ Luke Voit may be out a bit for Yankees
NY Post
Luke Voit missed the first 34 games of the season after left knee surgery during spring training, and now the Yankees first baseman is headed back to the injured list after an MRI exam revealed he has a Grade 2 right oblique strain.
“He’s going to be down a little bit,’’ manager Aaron Boone said Wednesday, before the Yankees and Blue Jays had their game postponed by a bad forecast in The Bronx. Boone said Voit began to feel discomfort in the area Saturday. Voit started and played eight innings on Sunday before being removed for defensive purposes and was at first base for all nine innings of Tuesday’s loss to Toronto following a day off Monday.More Related News
