Mika Zibanejad’s ‘think less’ mentality has paid off in impressive bounce-back season
NY Post
Through an otherwise turbulent start to the Rangers 2025-26 campaign, one player has held steady.
Mika Zibanejad has more than just bounced back from the most taxing campaign of his career. Coming into this season aiming to “think less,” the 32-year-old Swede has seemingly shed the mental weight and been able to play up to the standards that have defined his 15 years in the NHL.
The defensively savvy Zibanejad is back.
His one-timer on the power play is beginning to connect again.

The cold, unappetizing truth for Steve Cohen is that he has only one person to blame for the backlash presently aimed at his baseball team, and it isn’t David Stearns. Oh, Stearns makes for an easy target, a never-played-the-game Harvard man who is the perfect contrast to the rub-some-dirt-on-it tobacco chompers who ruled the game for a century.
