NY Post
Brandon Aiyuk issued a mea culpa after a video he shared over the weekend landed him in some hot water.
On his YouTube page Tuesday, the 49ers receiver said he was sorry for hitting speeds of over 100 mph while driving by Levi’s Stadium in footage he posted to his channel on Saturday.
“Sorry yall,” he wrote. “My car content won’t come with speeding anymore! Was Praying with my son tonight and wouldn’t want anybody else to miss out on an opportunity to do the same with their loved ones!
“My apologies.”
The clip, which went viral shortly after Aiyuk threw it up, showed the 27-year-old in a Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing reaching 104 mph as he passed by the 49ers’ home venue.
Earlier in the vid, Aiyuk’s speedometer made it all the way to 111 mph while he cruised through Bay Area freeways.
