
Vande Bharat train between Bengaluru and Dharwad to be extended to Belagavi

Vande Bharat train extended to Belagavi with morning departure, approved by Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.
The Vande Bharat train between Bengaluru and Dharwad will be extended to Belagavi and the decision has been approved by Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Belagavi MP Jagadish Shettar said in a release.
The train will depart from Belagavi in the morning. He informed this in a letter to Union Minister Pralhad Joshi.
Now, the train leaves Dharwad in the afternoon at 1.15 p.m. and reaches Bengaluru at 7.45 p.m.
The demand has been long pending. Several leaders including Mr. Joshi, Union Minister of State for Railways V. Somanna, Mr. Shettar and Rajya Sabha Member Iranna Kadadi. Belagavi is served by another Vande Bharat train that runs between Pune and Hubballi.
