UP zila panchayat poll: BJP fields Kuldeep Senger’s close aide Arun Singh from Unnao

The Unnao gang rape survivor has written to the President, PM and Uttar Pradesh CM after Arun Singh, a close aide of Kuldeep Sengar, was declared the party candidate for the post of zila panchayat chief.

The BJP has fielded Kuldeep Senger’s close aide Arun Singh in the upcoming election for post of zila panchayat chairman in Unnao constituency, triggering sharp reactions from all sides. Son-in-law of Uttar Pradesh minister Ranvendra Pratap Singh, Arun Singh is one of the 10 persons accused of plotting the Rae Bareli vehicle collision in which the victim of the Unnao gang rape was left critically injured.
