UP’s Gonda faces floods; CM Yogi Adityanath visits affected areas

17 villages in two tehsils of Uttar Pradesh’s Gonda district are facing floods. On Friday, CM Yogi Adityanath visited flood-affected areas and distributed relief material and medicines.

17 villages in two tehsils of Uttar Pradesh’s Gonda district are facing floods. The Ghaghra and Saryu rivers are continuously flowing above the danger mark in Gonda. About 4,500 people are affected in the district. In Tarabganj tehsil, people are using boats on submerged roads to commute. About six houses melted into Saryu waters due to soil erosion.
