UP: Over 50,000 farmers to get agricultural machines at subsidised rate through state govt grant

Over 50,000 farmers in the state will be able to get agricultural machines at a subsidised rate through the grant provided by the Uttar Pradesh government.

More than fifty thousand farmers in Uttar Pradesh will be able to get agricultural machines at a subsidised rate through the grant given by the state government. However, the instruments will be distributed on a first come, first served basis. The booking process was to start from Monday, but after the sudden demise of former Chief Minister Kalyan Singh and the state holiday, the dates were changed. The booking began from 3 pm on Tuesday (August 24) and next the portal will open on Thursday (August 26).
