The Uttar Pradesh government has approved a Rs 6,000-crore detailed project report for the proposed Film City in Jewar.
The Uttar Pradesh government approved a detailed project report (DPR) for the upcoming international airport in Greater Noida's Jewar on Thursday. The construction of India's largest film metropolis, estimated to cost Rs 6000 crore, is slated to commence soon. "This Film City will give a fair chance to artists belonging to the northern part of the country. It will directly employ over 15,000 people. The industry will provide a living for over a lakh people who reside nearby,” said Dhirendra Singh, MLA from Greater Noida's Jewar assembly constituency.More Related News
