
Unnao murder: Victim's mother suspects rape, demands meeting with UP CM Yogi Adityanath

Speaking to Aaj Tak, Unnao victim's mother said that she was not satisfied with the police investigation in the case. She said that she wants to meet CM Yogi Adityanath to urge for strict action against the culprits.
The mother of the Dalit girl, whose body was found in a decomposed state on the property owned by a Samajwadi Party leader's son on Thursday, has demanded to meet Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Speaking to Aaj Tak on Friday, the mother said that she was not satisfied with the police probe in the matter. She said she is worried that her daughter was raped before being killed.
A resident of Sadar Kotwali area of Unnao, the mother said that she wanted to meet the chief minister to urge him for strict action against the culprit.

Missing Dalit girl found dead after two months
The girl, whose body was found buried in a plot owned by Samajwadi Party leader Fateh Bahadur Singh's son Rajol Singh, had been missing for two months. Her mother had filed a missing person's report on December 8. She had run from pillar to post but in vain. Fateh Bahadur Singh was a minister in the Akhilesh Yadav government.
The mother of the missing victim blamed Rajol Singh for her disappearance. However, the police allegedly did not take the matter seriously.
