UN, World Bank, IMF in need of urgent reforms, says Nirmala Sitharaman

The Union Finance Minister made these remarks during a talk with American economist Lawrence Summers in Boston
Institutions such as United Nations, World Bank and International Monetary Fund need to be urgently reformed as they no longer speak for countries whose issues have remained unattended to for decades, Finance Minister said.

India’s trade data for November reveals continued resilience in exports despite mounting U.S. tariffs on several key products. This is particularly significant given that the U.S. remains India’s largest export partner by a substantial margin.
