Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) attempted to piggyback on that viral Coldplay concert kiss cam moment — but was met with instant mockery online.
Mace posted a photo on X (formerly Twitter) of the embrace between now-former Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and the company’s chief people officer, Kristin Cabot, who is not his wife.
The lawmaker tried to turn it into some kind of pro-Donald Trump message with Byron labeled as “Trump’s Economy” and Cabot as “American Born Workers.”
“Employment among American-born workers is up nearly 2M jobs since January. Thank you @POTUS,” she wrote.
