
Two people hospitalized, vehicles battered from accident in Saskatoon Saturday night

A serious accident near central Saskatoon hospitalized two people with serious, but not life-threatening, injuries and scattered debris from their vehicles across a gas station Saturday evening.
According to the Saskatoon Police Service, a vehicle heading westbound on 22nd Street West crashed into a vehicle heading north. They responded to the scene shortly after 7 p.m.
Both vehicles landed in the Co-Op gas station, located on the corner of 22nd Street West and Avenue D North.
Police Collision Analysts were also brought to the scene to investigate.
Officers reduced traffic near the collision to one lane but lifted road restrictions early Sunday morning.
