Two fake call centres busted in Delhi's Mukherjee Nagar, Subhash Place

Two fake call centres were busted in Delhi's Subhash Place and Mukherjee Nagar area during a joint operation of Cyber Cell North West district and Mukherjee Nagar police station on Thursday.

Delhi Police busted two fake call centres on Thursday running in the city's Subhash Place and Mukherjee Nagar area. 16 people were arrested in the joint operation of Cyber Cell North West district and Mukherjee Nagar police station. Allegedly, they allured unemployed youths on the pretext of providing jobs abroad by using fake degrees. From Subhash Place, five desktops, one laptop, five mobiles, debit and credit cards and cheque books were recovered. On the other hand, one laptop, one desktop, one printer, seven mobiles, one internet router, record registers and calling data were recovered from the fake call centre in Mukherjee Nagar.
