The operator of the Eiffel Tower is expected to file a criminal complaint against two American tourists who spent the night there in a restricted area, according to a report.
A police source told the news agency that the pair paid for tickets around 10:40 p.m. Sunday and then jumped over security barriers while descending stairs from the tower’s top viewing platform, which is 905 feet high. Greg Norman is a reporter at Fox News Digital.
The men ended up spending the night in an area closed to the public between the tower’s second and third levels, SETE told the AFP.
