Anju Seth, the first woman director of the Indian Institute of Management-Calcutta (IIM-C) has quit almost a year before her term ends. The resignation of Anju Seth comes two days after she went on sick leave, and almost a month after the IIM-C Board of Governors (BoG) clipped her powers. It started last year when both Anju Seth and the board accused each other of trying to snub the other party. Anju Seth had accused Chairman Shrikrishna Kulkarni of eating into her executive powers and the board had accused Seth of improper conduct.
