TTC streetcar derailed following downtown crash with car: Toronto police

A TTC streetcar has derailed following an early morning crash with a car at a busy downtown Toronto intersection, said police.
Officers responded around 5:39 a.m. near Richmond Street W. and Bay Street to reports of a collision, said police on social media.
Toronto Fire told CBC News a streetcar was fully off the tracks, adding crews cleared the scene once TTC staff and police arrived.
Police said there were no injuries and are investigating how the collision took place.
Bay Street at Queen Street West and Richmond Street West is closed for the time being.
