
Trump's Bruised Hand Is Looking Pretty Swollen

It could be the light, but in addition to the now-familiar bandage covering the bruise, the president's hand appeared more than a little swollen.
The persistent bruise on President Donald Trump’s right hand was on full display during Friday’s 2026 FIFA World Cup draw when Trump extended it to shake hands with FIFA President Gianni Infantino while being awarded a so-called peace prize.
It could be the light, but in addition to the now-familiar bandage covering the bruise, the president’s hand appeared more than a little swollen.
And earlier this week, the 79-year-old was spotted at a Cabinet meeting with two large Band-Aids on his right hand. He also appeared to doze off during the meeting.
In February, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt responded to questions about a bruise on Trump’s hand by claiming the bruise came from working too hard.
“President Trump has bruises on his hand because he’s constantly working and shaking hands all day, every day,” Leavitt said at the time.
