President Donald Trump blamed the Biden administration for allegedly letting millions of murderers, drug dealers and “a lot of bad people” come into the U.S. before veering off on a tangent about his love for a notorious biker gang during a press briefing at the White House on Tuesday.
While touting his sweeping immigration crackdown, Trump bragged about stemming the tide of illegal immigration across the southern border and claimed that for the first time in 50 years, the U.S. was experiencing “reverse migration.”
“We have a big process for having people come in legally, by the way. A lot of people are coming in legally,” Trump said. “They have to prove they love our country. They have to prove that they’re not going to need welfare. A lot of things they have to prove.”
Trump accused immigrants of being “criminals” in “many, many cases.”
“You remember when they used to say that the people that come into our country as immigrants are very nice people, they’re wonderful people, and they don’t commit crime?” he asked. “No, they make our criminals look like babies.”
