Tracy Morgan reveals reason for vomiting at Knicks game in post from hospital bed
NY Post
Tracy Morgan revealed he was hospitalized for food poisoning after he threw up on the floor while sitting courtside at MSG for the Knicks-Heat game on Monday.
The comedian, 56, who was escorted off of the court in a wheelchair, posted a photo of himself Tuesday morning smiling in a hospital bed while holding a thumbs up gesture.
“Thank you for all your concern! I’m doing ok now and doctors say it was food poisoning,” Morgan wrote on Instagram. “Appreciate my MSG family for taking such good care of me and I need to shout out the crew that had to clean that up. Appreciate you!
“More importantly, the Knicks are now 1-0 when I throw up on the court so maybe I’ll have to break it out again in the playoffs 😅.”
Morgan was shirtless and multiple wires attached to his chest in the snapshot — which showed his phone in a Knicks case with his name on it.
The Knicks went on to defeat the Heat 116-95 after Morgan’s illness delayed the game for approximately 10 minutes during the third quarter.

Suddenly, someone had hit a rewind button and everyone had been transported back seven months. It was early spring instead of late fall, it was broiling hot outside the arena walls and not freezing cold. Everyone was back at TD Garden. There were 19,156 frenzied fans on their feet begging for blood, poised for the kill.
