Toyota can turn diesel semis into hydrogen-powered big rigs now

Toyota has been given approval to start selling a commercialized version of the hydrogen fuel cell powertrain it has developed for semi tractor trucks.
It's part of the state's Advanced Clean Fleets program, which aims to make its entire trucking industry zero emissions by 2045. Gary Gastelu is Fox News Digital's automotive editor.
But that doesn't mean every truck will be battery-powered.
