This was one supporter President Donald Trump didn’t want to fight.
The president on Friday, March 20, reacted to the death of Chuck Norris, the martial artist and action movie icon. Norris’ family announced the “Walker, Texas Ranger" star’s death on March 20 but cited no cause.
The president appeared shocked to hear of Norris' death, first saying "oh, he did?"
"He was a great guy. He was a really good, tough cookie,” Trump said when asked about Norris' death while departing the White House. “You didn't want to fight him.”
Trump, who also called him a “great supporter,” sent regards to Norris’ family.
