Toronto under winter weather travel advisory with light snow Thursday night

Toronto is under a second winter weather travel advisory this week with more snow expected Thursday night.
Lake effect snow off Georgian Bay will mean snowfall accumulations of two to four centimetres, Environment Canada says.
"Motorists should expect hazardous winter driving conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly. Poor weather conditions may contribute to transportation delays," the federal weather agency said in its advisory.
Peel Region and York Region are also under a travel advisory.
The temperature in Toronto is -4 C Thursday night, feeling like -12 with the wind chill.
Friday is expected to be -1 C with a 30 per cent chance of flurries.

Sarnia City Council will hold a special meeting Tuesday morning to respond to social media comments made by Coun. Bill Dennis, who criticized city spending on a new mural by Indigenous artist Kennady Osborne as “virtue signalling by woke politicians” — then made a series of comments in response to a reply from Aamjiwnaang Chief Janelle Nahmabin that some have characterized as unprofessional and aggressive.
