Disha Ravi, the 22-year-old climate activist arrested in connection with the 'toolkit' case, has finally broken her silence. The activist associated closely with Greta Thunberg's Fridays for Future movement released a four-page statement on Twitter on Saturday. I'm letting this out into the internet void in order to present a narrative that is my own.P.S. This is based on my personal experience and does not represent the opinion of any climate movement, group, or organisation. pic.twitter.com/djrieCZcn8 In the statement, Disha Ravi said she "coerced" herself into believing that the only way she would be able to live through the detention was to trick herself into thinking that this was not happening to her.
