Academy Award-winning actor Tommy Lee Jones’ daughter, 34-year-old Victoria Jones, is believed to have been found dead in a San Francisco hotel room on New Year’s Day, multiple outlets reported.

Her alleged death was first reported by TMZ, which obtained dispatch audio classifying it as a possible overdose. Sources familiar with the investigation confirmed to The San Francisco Chronicle and NBC Bay Area that the body, found at the city’s ritzy Fairmont Hotel, is believed to be that of Victoria Jones.

The San Francisco Fire Department confirmed that it had declared one person deceased after first responders received a medical emergency call to the Fairmont at 2:52 a.m. on New Year’s Day. The city’s police department, which has taken over the case, did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

In a statement, a spokesperson for the Fairmont said the hotel staff was “deeply saddened” by the incident.

“Our heartfelt condolences are with the family and loved ones during this very difficult time,” the spokesperson said. “The hotel team is actively cooperating and supporting police authorities within the framework of the ongoing investigation.”
