TMC MP Sukhendu Sekhar Ray submits substantive motion against Bengal governor in Rajya Sabha

Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Sukhendu Sekhar Ray filed a substantive motion in Rajya Sabha against the governor of Bengal.
Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Sukhendu Sekhar Ray submitted a Substantive Motion under Rule 170 in the Rajya Sabha on Friday, urging the President of India to revoke his pleasure (under Article 156 of the Constitution) in respect of West Bengal Governor.
As per the letter, Jagdeep Dhankhar is accused of interfering with day-to-day administration and publicly criticising the state's constitutional authorities by issuing statements/bytes/tweets in print, electronic, and social media.
Earlier this month, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee stated publicly that she has blocked the Governor on social media for tagging her in all of his posts.
She also stated that she had written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi several times about the Governor. However, no response was sent back to the state.
