TMC criticises PM Modi after Tripura college cancels classes, asks students to attend his event

The TMC lashed out at the Prime Minister over a Tripura college notice about suspension of classes so that the students and faculty members could attend the inaugural event of New Integrated Terminal Building of MBB Airport.
The All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) lashed out at the Prime Minister over a notice that surfaced where the principal of Tripura Institute of Technology advised the students and the faculty members to attend the inaugural event of New Integrated Terminal Building (NITB) of Maharaja Bir Bikram (MBB) Airport in Tripura. Additionally, the notice also stated that classes on January 4 would be suspended so that students could attend the event at Swami Vivekananda Maidan.In a tweet, the AITC said, “HYPOCRISY of Mr @narendramodi EXPOSED! Will education and safety of students NEVER be a priority for Mr Modi? Classes to remain suspended so that students can attend Modi ji's program! Is this how he plans to pull crowds? By risking so many lives during #COVID19? SHAME." All staff members & officials of Labour Directorate and West District Labour Office, Agartala are to attend Modi ji's event. Is Mr @narendramodi SO INSECURE?
