Tragic collapse of cellar at Hyderabad hotel construction site kills three workers, prompts investigation into cause of the accident
Cellar of an under-construction hotel collapsed claiming lives of three migrant workers in the L.B. Nagar area of Hyderabad on Wednesday (February 5, 2025) morning. Several others sustained injuries and were rushed to private hospital for treatment.
The deceased were identified as migrant workers from Bihar who were working at the site. Authorities are investigating the cause of the collapse, with initial reports suggesting that lack of reinforcement for the construction activities may have contributed to the disaster.
Local officials and rescue teams promptly arrived at the scene to clear the debris and assist the injured.
