This is what the next-gen Hyundai i20 interior could look like
India Today
Spy shots of the next-generation Hyundai i20 reveal a redesigned cabin with dual curved screens and updated tech. The fourth-gen hatchback is expected to debut in FY28 and could share its platform with the Hyundai Bayon.
Hyundai i20 next-generation prototype has been spotted testing overseas, this time offering a clear look at the cabin layout. The heavily camouflaged test mule suggests that the upcoming fourth-generation model will receive a significantly updated interior with a stronger focus on digital tech and advanced driver-assistance features. The new model is expected to arrive in India around FY28 and will likely share its underpinnings with the upcoming Hyundai Bayon.
Inside, the test vehicle appears to adopt a modern cockpit layout similar to the one seen in the latest Hyundai Venue. The dashboard features a curved dual-screen setup integrating the infotainment display and digital instrument cluster, both of which are expected to measure around 12.3 inches.
Another notable change is the redesigned steering wheel. The unit seen on the prototype appears to use Hyundai’s new four-dot motif in the centre, representing the letter "H" in Morse code, a design cue the brand has begun introducing on newer models.
The dashboard itself seems to have been redesigned with a cleaner layout, although camouflage hides finer details. The production version could feature a new colour scheme and upgraded upholstery to enhance the cabin’s premium appeal.
Hyundai is also likely to expand the hatchback’s feature list. Expected equipment includes:
The current i20 already offers a strong safety package with six airbags, electronic stability control, hill-start assist, vehicle stability management and tyre-pressure monitoring, and these are expected to continue in the next generation.
