Third teenager charged in death of 16-year-old Londoner

Police have charged a third teenager in the death of Malik McDonnell-Mills, who died of his injuries last week after a fight in London' s Glen Cairn neigbourhood.
Two 16-year-olds and an 18-year-old are facing manslaughter charges. The 16-year-olds can't be named under provisions of the youth criminal justice act.
One of the 16-year-olds and the 18-year old appeared in London court Monday in relation to the charges. The second 16-year-old was arrested Monday and is expected to appear in court today.
McDonnell-Mills, 16, died after an altercation with a group of teens in London's Glen Cairn neighbourhood on Aug. 9. Police found him with life-threatening injuries near Thompson Rd. and King Edward Ave. at around 6:45 p.m. He later died in hospital.
McDonnell-Mills is remembered by his friends as someone who was outgoing and put others before himself. He was going into Grade 10 at Montcalm Secondary School and lived in the Kipps Lane neighbourhood.
The investigation is ongoing.
