These nine chief ministers got bungalows in Lutyens' Delhi, RTI reveals

To find out how many CMs have been allotted government accommodation in Delhi, India Today filed a Right to Information (RTI) query with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.

Every third chief minister in India has a separate house allocated in New Delhi's Lutyens Bungalow Zone (LBZ), an RTI query has revealed. Out of these nine CMs, seven are from the NDA. The two CMs from non-NDA parties who have been allocated bungalows are K Chandrashekar Rao of Telangana and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy from Andhra Pradesh. To find out how many chief ministers have been allotted government accommodation in Delhi, India Today filed a Right to Information (RTI) query with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. We posed several questions like how much rent is being paid and who pays it, when and why the allotment to these houses was made, how many chief ministers who had applied did not get a Lutyen's bungalow?
