There should be no rhetoric on Jitan Ram Manjhi, says Sushil Kumar Modi

BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi said that there should be no rhetoric on Jitan Ram Manjhi from constituent parties.

BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi came to the defense of former Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi and said that there should be no rhetoric about the senior NDA leader from the constituent parties. The BJP MP’s statement comes amid a growing rift between the saffron party and its ally Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) after Manjhi made a controversial remark against Brahmins.

Manjhi, who was speaking at an event organised by the Bhuiyan-Musahar community in Patna, raised the issue of politics being done in the name of religion and used derogatory terms against pandits (Brahmin by caste).
