The Jets should make a play for John Harbaugh? It’s not so simple
NY Post
Aaron Glenn had finished his season-ending Jets press conference a few hours before the NFL coaching landscape got hit with seismic change.
The Ravens firing John Harbaugh after 18 seasons is the type of bombshell that can change things.
For Jets fans, the immediate question became: Should the Jets fire Aaron Glenn and pursue Harbaugh?
This fan base has scars from the missed opportunity two years ago when the Jets kept Robert Saleh as coach even after the Titans fired Mike Vrabel. Woody Johnson then fired Saleh five games into the 2024 season. The Jets wooed Vrabel after that year, but he wound up taking the Patriots job and just led them to an AFC East title in his first season.
