The Housemaid, the latest Hollywood thriller starring Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried, will premiere digitally in India soon. The film, which was released in theatres in India on January 1, will be available to rent on Prime Video, Apple TV, Google/YouTube and BookMyShow from 12th February 2026.
Billed as an intense psychological thriller, The Housemaid also stars Brandon Sklenar. “Trying to escape her past, Millie (Sweeney) takes a job as a live-in housemaid for wealthy couple Nina (Seyfried) and Andrew Winchester (Sklenar), only for the dream opportunity to spiral into a dangerous game of secrets, scandal, and power, with shocking twists unfolding behind closed doors until the very end,” reads the logline of the film.
The film is directed by Paul Feig. Rebecca Sonnenshine has written the screenplay based on the bestselling novel by Frieda McFadden. Todd Liebermann produced the project from Hidden Pictures, along with Feig and Laura Fischer. Sweeney and Seyfried served as executive producers along with Alex Young and McFadden.
The Housemaid will be available to rent from ₹499.
